Traditional fantasy sports face retention rates of 10% and no incentives for users. In addition, fantasy sports are tending towards gambling which limits the user’s ability to socialize and DefyU’s ability to work with brands and athletes.

the solution

We have analyzed social gaming apps and have incorporated gamification elements that have led to more than 40-50% retention rates. Moreover, to further retain the user we have introduced social elements, real-time data, one-week leagues and daily rewards.

target group

For months we have used Facebook ads to identify the CPAs of our product in each region and identify our target customer. We’ve identified our target user as a 14-26 year-old male, sports fan who lives in Latin America or Southeast Asia.
